Located 160 km from Bucharest, Romania's capital, Brasov is surrounded like a halo by the Carpathians, being in the middle of the country at the crossroads of the the Eastern Carpathian and the Southern Carpathians. Across the mountains to the South and East there are Wallachia and Moldavia, to the West the Banat region and to the North the rolling hills of Northern Transylvania."

"Biserica Neagră or Black Church (German: Schwarze Kirche; Romanian: Biserica Neagră; Hungarian: Fekete templom) is a cathedral in Braşov, a city in south-eastern Transylvania, Romania. It was built by the German community of the city and stands as the main Gothic style monument in the country, as well as being the largest and one of the most important Lutheran (Evangelical Church of Augustan Confession in Romania) places of worship in the region...Construction on it began during the late 14th century... The structure was partially destroyed during a great fire set by invading Habsburg forces on the April 21, 1689 (during the Great Turkish War).[20] Afterward, it became known as the Black Church."

Hey Cory,
Got your letter and prayer card yesterday and was thrilled to learn more about the work God has called you to. I'm excited to follow your progress so I'll be checking your blog regularly. You'll also be in my prayers every day.
Take care and God Bless!

Hey cor,
have fun... try not to miss me too much!
Hey Corey, You've been gone a week. Your family misses you. We love you. We pray blessings over you everyday.
Hey Core, I miss you and can hardly believe you are so far away. Your blogging is wonderful, (as is everything you create.) I am praying for you especially that the influence you bring to the children will be eternal. I am always amazed to think how the youth pastor I had for only eleven months at Lafayette Street pretty much changed my life forever because of his deep love for Christ and the way he loved everyone around him.
I am so excited for you. The children will love you as will everyone who spends at least two minutes talking to you.
I loved my first grade teacher. She had red hair and she hugged me. Her name was Mrs. Clark.
Please write me when you can.
Love, Ms. Joy
I think yours is the best blog I've ever read. Keep up the good work.
