sorry about the lack of updates. this week has been absolutely insane, and i haven't had access to the internet/a pc till now.
this city is beautiful, the people are wonderful, and i'm super stoked about this year. i'll be teaching first and second grade and school starts monday, so please pray that everything goes well because i'm (currently) a bit overwhelmed. i'll try and update this with some pics and a longer post later during the week (the school should have internet sometime then...)

don't forget me!

corey. you are going to rock those first and second graders' faces off.

though not seeing you is something i've learned to cope with, knowing you are this far away is causing me to find new coping mechanisms...and i can't afford to keep eating this many twinkies every night. i miss you a lot...

Corey, I am praying for you, that you would be empowered to do what God has called you to do.

"God places you in situations where you are able to grow. He opened the door and you have responded. God is your source. It won't be all intellect that is running your life, but the leading of the Holy Spirit. As Christians how many times do we find ourselves in situations that we aren't equipped for, but with God working through us we find ourselves excelling in these situations..." (Act-Ministries)

"I can do all things THROUGH CHRIST, who strengthens me."Philippians 4:13

We all love you. How's the coffee?

Corey Corey, man abroad. Corey Corey knows no...fraud? uhyeah.

I never thought you would teach youngsters like that. It should be a great experience, as the entire thing promises to be. I anxiously await updates. I will check every day with my morning coffee and stock quotes.

Hiya Corey!

So glad to learn you made the
l-o-n-g trip to Romania safely (jet lag can be brutal)...you are certain to have the time of your life while living overseas.

I love you and am very proud of you! :)

Corey...man I miss you like crazy...as, I was mowing the grass and sweating in the humid Alabama weather. Just teasing. I miss you more than I can say in words and am so proud of you. I will be praying for you everyday and night. I know you are going to (already have grown) from what you are experiencing. We Love you. I wish Mr Mark would bring over some of those twinkies...

Coco,
I too am downing the twinkies and that is not a good thing for a girl like me. I will soon have to invest in a new wardrobe and that will be costly. I was thinking since your Dad let you make this trip maybe you could give me access to his credit card to purchase the clothing required for a twinkie eating momma. or maybe, if that won't work, I could try the "skinny bride diet" Sarah Beth has discovered! I miss you. I love you. Ms.j

Hey...we're all doing well for the most part...I have 2 tests tomorrow...study, study, study...saw something about the school in Redding on tv today, pretty awsome. Don't think Ben got your contact info. Praying for both of you. Made a new protein drink today...with instant coffee, it's super, you'll like it.

Been checking for your update...sorry no reliable internet source yet. God will provide all that you need when you need it. Although, I'm ready to hear and see some of what you're up to, I trust that He's got you covered.
Love Liz and the rest of us here.

Hey Corey,
How are you? I am so very excited for you to be in a Teaching/Learning experience with the help of the Lord. I know the Elementary Level can be difficult, especially with many different languages, but it can also be moments of joy for you and the children. When they finally get "it" and the look of amazement comes into their eyes, you will feel the Spirit. Let us know if you need anything. We keep you in our prayers. Take Care and Update Us!!
PS - Glad you decided to do the Blog!!
